Biodlarna is an interest organization for beekeepers in Sweden. Through local associations, Biodlarna has over 15,000 members. Their aim is to help beekeepers and ensure that their activities are supported.
Eight, together with Biodlarna, produced an educational series to help beginners get started with beekeeping.
For a year we followed Lennart Johansson, who is responsible for training at Biodlarna and also an experienced beekeeper. We visited different beekeepers taking care of their bee colonies. We went through several approaches, the equipment required, safety and challenges of beekeeping.
The training series was released as an online training for members on the Beekeepers’ website, where anyone can participate.
